Space Girl

Hello my lovelies, I hope you are having a lovely Sunday!!!

Today's' post is short and sweet. I was in Lush and I bought the Space Girl Bath Ballistic. If you haven't tried this you need this in your life. It's sweet, it turns the water pink and purple then totally becomes purple. I love it and I'm sad it's gone but I will get more of this product. It makes bath time so much more fun don't get me wrong I love traditional bubble baths but I also like to have a bath in purple water.

(Please excuse my chipped nail polish).

It's So pretty!

It's no bath time without a candle and a magazine. I love lighting my Yankee candle in Cinnamon.

Details: Space Girl Bath Ballistic £2.35 at Lush, Yankee candle (old) and Glamour Magazine £2.00 (old).

I hope you like this post and stay tuned for my upcoming post which is going to be a haul! Please leave a comment let me know what you think and let me know what your favourite Lush product is I would love to know.

Thanks, until next time...

Cara Delevingne: Makeup Inspired look

Hello beautiful people, I hope you are well. On Saturday I went to Hyde Park for a belated birthday picnic! I have never been to Hyde Park when it's not Winter Wonderland. It's so beautiful, the flowers are in full bloom, the weather was gorgeous and I was surrounded by friends. What more could I ask for? I wanted to share that with you. Today I was running errands with my sister and we ended up shopping which we didn't plan. We saw so many cute clothes that we had to have them. I will do a look book so keep an eye out on my blog.  On with today's post. I was inspired by a lipstick by Collection called 'Mango Tango' number 14. I love this colour it's a bright orange with a pink tone. I knew I wanted to wear this for my birthday picnic. I wore a nail polish to match which is from Barry M in 'Passion Fruit'. I knew what colour my lips would be but I wasn't sure what I would do with the rest of my face. So I did some research and I came across Cara Delevingne's look with a similar colour lip and that's what I did I recreated her look with what I had in my makeup bag. I like this look but I'm not sure it works because I have hazel eyes so this look does not work but hey I don't follow rules just cause I don't have blue eyes don't mean I can't try it. I hope you like this post and let me know in the comments what you think :)

Makeup: Clinique super primer, MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NC40, MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW30, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish 'Perfect Topping', for highlighting I use MAC CC prep and prime colour correcting, Benefit Eyebrow kit in dark and Benefit 'They're Real' mascara.

For the eyes: I used Benefit 'Stay Don't Stray' primer. From my Urban Decay Midnight Emergency Palette, I used 'Midnight Cowboy' as the base colour. For the crease I used 'Midnight Rodeo' and for the outer V I used 'Backdoor' from Urban Decay Smoked Palette. The inner corner highlight I used 'Midnight 15' in the Midnight Emergency Palette. To finish the look off I used a dark blue from my H&M Palette and used the precision brush to sweep that lovely deep dark blue under my lower eyelashes. The eyeshadows that I used were glittery before applying I sprayed MAC's Fix plus spray to enhance the colour. To apply my eyeshadow I recently bought Real Techniques Starter Set from TK Maxx and I absolutely love it! I never had the right brushes before and now that I do it makes it so much easier to apply the eyeshadow on to my eyes as each brush has a different purpose.

Details: It comes with the case. £14.99 from TK Maxx.

For more make up inspired looks comment below and tell me what make up look you would like me to recreate!

Thank you, until next time...

Serenity

Good Afternoon my lovelies, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Sometimes we live our lives doing the same routine day and day out we forget to truly live our lives to the fullest. I am one of those people. I get so caught up with the daily routine, work and home and work again. I forgot that I'm supposed to be living my life to ultimately be happy not miserable. I realised I am the one making myself unhappy by not doing what I love. Last night after work I watched Oprah PrimeTime on Lifetime TV an interview with Rob Lowe. He's an amazing actor and writer. I'm intrigued by his life, he inspired me to continue with my dream. He said 'We are the architect of our own lives' (not sure if it's word for word but something along those lines). This struck a cord with me, it reminded me that I am living my life for me. Why am I wasting time? It's true what Rob Lowe said 'We only have one life' which is obvious but we tend to forget this. Well I did anyway but watching this interview I was encouraged to not give up, I have faced trials, I have failed but I am not a failure because I chose not to give up. Today's post is about create the life you want, if you're in a job that no longer fulfills you or makes you happy find a job that does. Find what makes you happy and strive to make it a reality. I have always wanted to do yoga and live a healthy life but life gets in the way. Ages ago I bought a yoga DVD and it's been sitting with all my other DVD collection and gathering dust. After watching the interview I made a conscious decision to do something everyday that I want to do. I made it a morning routine to put my yoga DVD on and have 30 minutes of serenity, to find inner peace, inner happiness and doing what I love. I also have loads of books sitting on my bed side table that I want to read but I don't get time now I am making time to read them because ultimately that will make me happy. I hope this post inspired your day to do something you love and will make you happy. If you're already doing what you love then big congrats to you! I admire you for that, I lost my way but I'm back, I was reminded of what I had forgotten. I'm a big believer of everything happens for a reason but sometimes you need to be the reason things happen. Happy Thursday!!! Blog post on Sunday so don't miss it!

Thank you, until next time...

BIRTHDAY

Hey guys and dolls!

I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I am truly blessed to have so many great people in my life who love me and made my birthday special. Today’s post is about everything birthday. Firstly, I want to share with you what I did my family came around; we cut the cake, had lunch and loads of laughs. That pretty much sums it up; it’s nice to spend time with your loved ones especially on your birthday. This was great; I didn’t want to go crazy this year.  I received many birthday messages and calls from family and friends. I seriously can’t believe I am 22, it feels unreal but the weird thing is I actually feel 22... I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing but hey. I am so blessed and I couldn’t ask for more. I want to share my birthday outfit and birthday make-up and I hope you like this post. If you do, leave a comment below you would make a birthday girl happy!
Thank you, until next time...

This is what I wore for my birthday. I love this dress, it's so colourful and I love that is a high-low dress.
I wore a simple black T-shirt underneath and I paried it with classic black heels.

Dress: New Look (old), shoes: Primark (old), T-shirt: Basic H&M

Birthday Make-up: I decided to go for a natural look since my dress is colourful. I love my lip colour from Collection in 'Vintage Rose' it's quite similar to Kylie Jenner's nude with pink undertone lip colour she has been rocking recently. I love her style and make-up. For the eyes I just did a winged eye with Maybeline gel eye liner. I perfer using gel than liquid just because I find the liquid ones run out quickly for me. If you know of a great liquid eye liner please let me know :) For the eyebrows just used benefit brow kit if you have not seen my makeup heaven for dry skin have a read because I show all the products that I use daily!

Here are some pics of me with a balloon !

And my cake! That is now finished (sad times) I need more cake!

Katy Perry: Prismatic World Tour

Hello my lovelies,
Any Katy Perry fans out there?!? I know I am one of them; I absolutely love Katy Perry and her music of course! I am really excited about this post because I am able to share my experience with you of my time at Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour at the 02 arena!!! I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to go with my sister. My birthday is on Saturday so going to this concert was an early birthday gift which is awesome. One more thing checked off my bucket list of things to do in my life. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the experience was, it was beyond my expectations. Where to start?!? I guess I will start from the beginning so my sister and I wore the same outfit but we wore it differently to express our individuality. As well as if I did lose her I could say ‘have you seen a mini version of me?’ haha but do not worry I did not lose her thank god for that. She wore it with a California Los Angeles Tee with Nike Blazers. I am really loving pastels colours right now. I love how versatile overalls are. Stay tuned for an upcoming collaboration between Virginia and I. Getting to the 02 arena took us an hour and a bit which was long but we had music to entertain us along the way, we were listening to Katy Perry's songs. Once we arrived, we were so excited to be there. It was pretty cool; we took loads of pictures documenting the day. We had a look around inside there were so many good restaurants. We did not eat there because we had already eaten before we arrived, but definitely next time if we go again we would have dinner there. It was SUPER busy so many people; it was so interesting seeing what other people wore to the concert. Some girls came in costumes of what Katy wore in her music videos. Some wore colourful wigs it was so nice seeing a variety of outfits, I am not that bold but they looked great. We showed our tickets to gain access to our section of where we will be, whilst waiting for us to be seated we took more pictures as you do. My sister is the better photographer, she makes us look good. Finally, after a long time of waiting we were finally let in, we found our seats. We were seated in the middle section of the stadium, now I am afraid of heights and I did not realise how high we were seated and the seats were slanted which made it worse. I was okay once it had started, Icona Pop were playing I did not know any of their songs they were singing but I loved their energy. They finished with a song that I did know which is ‘I love it’ which is a great song. Katy came on at 9pm and what an entrance she made, the stage came up like a prism and went back down and there was Katy. The staging, lighting, costumes and the whole atmosphere was amazing! I love the fact that she was talking to the audience, making us feel involved, sharing the inspirations for her songs and sharing her stories. I think she would be awesome to have has a friend. Katy sang one of her songs ‘By the grace of god’ my sister and I never heard that song before until the concert. WOW! Just WOW! That song was really emotional and touched my heart. I love listening to that song, most days I have it on repeat. At the end was confetti and balloons galore, it was a beautiful ending to the concert. Katy sang ‘Birthday’ and that was the best way to end since my Birthday is three days away.

Happy Birthday!!!! If you’re birthday is coming up! Happy Belated Birthday!!!! If your birthday has passed. I hope you have a lovely day. I hope you enjoyed this post, please leave a comment below if you have seen Katy Perry in action at the 02 or anywhere else.

Concert/ Festival Season

Hi dolls, I hope you are having a lovely week so far wherever you are. The weather in London has been amazingly hot and I love it! I feel summer is here but since this is England it never lasts long so, I am appreciating it while it’s here. Today’s post is my advice when planning an outfit and  what to take with you when you are going to a concert or even a festival. I recently went to see Katy Perry at the 02 for her Prismatic World Tour and I was not sure what to wear or what to take. I hope this post will be helpful and maybe give you some ideas if you have tickets to an event and you need some inspiration. Stay tuned for my blog post about my experience at World Prismatic Tour!!!
1.       Firstly, plan your outfit around the weather. I know the weather is unpredictable here in England but the last thing you want is to wear a pretty outfit and you’re not prepared for rain.  Make sure to have a light jacket with you or an umbrella.
2.       Whatever you chose to wear makes sure you are comfortable in it; you do not want the outfit to annoy you while you’re at the event as you want to create great memories.
3.       More importantly make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes, as you will be walking a lot and the last thing you want is your shoes hurting you. I would suggest converses, or any trainers, sandals, wedges if you want to wear heels.
4.       Find your style whether you want to go boho chic, rock chic, or dress up in costume, casual, classic. I love that you can express your personality through your clothes.
5.       Once you have your outfit sorted, so what do you take with you? Well, don’t forget your tickets! Secondly, take lunch with you ... I know you cannot take any drinks or food into the event but if you have time along the way and you get hungry least you have something with you. Take a drink with you it’s important to stay hydrated. Take a camera or your phone or any device you like to take pictures to remember that day.
6.       Make sure you have you planned your route of how to get to the location of the event and how to get home. (This is an obvious one but hey you never know on the day that train station could be closed, trust me I am talking from experience that is why I always check the train lines).
7.       Here’s another obvious one but make sure to take some cash out before the event, just in case there are no cash points where you are or the cash machine has run out of money. Just be prepared for the unexpected cause you do not want something small to stress you out or ruin that day as you want all the experiences to be good right from the moment you leave the house till you arrive there and till you go home again.
8.       Finally, enjoy yourself, have fun and be safe!
Here's my personal look, what I wore to Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour!
Details: Overalls Boohoo £25, Crop Top Miss Selfridge (old), Jacket New Look (old), converses (old) and flower headpiece Primark (old).
Makeup: natural
I hope you like this post, it’s just my advice, and everyone is different. I hope this helped give you some inspiration or ideas. Please leave a comment below, let me know what you think I love reading your comments! Please follow my blog :)
